operation backpack
In conjunction with Brunswick Family Assistance Agency and other local churches, Operation Backpack helps to collect backpacks with school supplies, and uniforms for families in need. Families can apply once a year, in the month of July, through the Brunswick Family Assistance Agency. Children must live in Brunswick county, be entering kindergarden through eighth grade, and meet income eligibility requirements. All backpacks are distributed during the month of August, prior to the beginning of the school year.
This is a yearly ministry for Crosswinds. In 2009, the program helped to provide over 250 backpacks. Help us to make next year even better.
